Connecting Hunting Abilities To A Lab's Behavior In The Home
Read more at www.squidoo.comLabrador Retrievers are many things to many people. Because of their loving nature and obedient temperament, these dogs have not only made great companions and helpers, but they are most often used as service dogs for the blind and handicapped.
How many dogs are adaptive enough to live with all of those different roles, yet still have the personality to enjoy swimming, hunting, and play fetching games? Labs are truly universal pets which is why they are one of the most favorite dog to own.

One of the ways to spend more time doing High Yield Internet Marketing activities is to systemize.
Read more at www.michellemacphearson.comAnd one of the tools many of us use is WordPress. It makes sense to have a default “WordPress Installation Checklist” that you or your team can refer to each and every time you put up a new site. This way nothing is forgotten, you always have the links to download the correct plugins and there’s little ambiguity and therefore less room for mistakes.
I use Basecamp to organize progects, and within Basecamp there is the functionality to create “To-Do List Templates” that can be used over and over again.
Today I’m sharing my personal WordPress installation checklist – this is geared towards internet marketers building content-type sites. We go through each and every step on this list when installing a new site. It’ll produce a wordpress site that’s got it going on in terms on on-page optimization and is ready to grow. Add content and you’re up and running.

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon plus a pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 medium apples, peeled, cored, quartered, then diced
1/3 cup chopped, toasted walnuts
2 large eggs
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 tablespoons Calvados (optional)For topping:
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamonInstructions
Place cupcake liners inside a 12-cup standard muffin tin.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Whisk together sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Add diced apples and walnuts, tossing to coat. Whisk together eggs, yogurt, butter and Calvados (if using) in a small bowl. Gently fold the liquid mixture into the flour mixture until just combined. Don’t over mix or muffins will be tough. Divide batter among muffin cups.
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar with cinnamon. Sprinkle a little of the mixture over the top of each muffin.
Bake until muffins are brown around edges and spring back when touched, 16 to 18 minutes. Remove muffin pan to a rack to cool for about 5 minutes. Then, turn out muffins onto the wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Store muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze in a plastic container for longer storage.

The story of how a dog named Bolt rescued a woman
the story of how a dog save a woman
Amplify’d from inspiringpretty.blogspot.com
How Bolt Came to My Rescue
I have a little guy named Bolt. He is a jack russell/boston terrier mix and I don't know what shape I would be in without him. I have always loved dogs, but never had one in my home until I was in high school. The dog my parents brought home was a wonderful addition and I love him to this day, but his existence didn't chance my life at all. My Dad also had a few dogs come and go over the years, though not seeing him all that often just made them cuddly playmates. However Bolt.... well he means so much to me and my husband.
Being a new year, I have started thinking about 2010 and how it was exceptionally difficult. There were many times I wanted to just give up on everything. When I felt worthless in life. When my husband and I would argue or feel down right depressed. As I've been looking back, I realized that there were so many instances where Bolt came to our rescue. No, I wasn't Little Timmy stuck in a long dark pit, but my emotions might as well have been. And Bolt knew just what to do! He licked me incessantly until I realized he was trying to give me kisses. He cuddled up and made me feel warm and loved when I all I really felt was alone. He brought me his favorite toy to squeak and throw so that I could have some fun playing. And he just plain did silly things that made me laugh out loud, even when I had been crying. There were many times his constant positive nature paired next to his contentment with simplicity caused me to look at life in different ways.
I know some of you may be thinking "it's just a dog; a pet." And I'm inclined to agree with you. However, I believe God has used my little pet this past year to help me cope with seemingly hopeless situations. My husband and I had wanted a dog for a very long time but we didn't feel the time was right until just before things began their downward spiral. We have always trusted in God to provide for us in ways we can't provide for ourselves. And during this past year that we have had Bolt, God has provided a way to endure this wilderness we are in. I hope your pet can be the same for you.
Read more at inspiringpretty.blogspot.comDon't have a dog or some other pet? I recommend a trip to your local pound. Though it may make you feel a little sad at first - for you can't take all those sad faces home with you - you just may find one you can. And it has already made you feel better! Now you have a companion and just think.... you saved it's life. Doesn't that feel good?

Crochet How to Techniques, What to do with the Ends
I have been crocheting an awfully long time. My grandmother taught me. I love it. I also love to knit. But there are things that you need to do to make the experience more enjoyable. There are crochet techniques that are basic how to’s. If you already crochet you know what I mean. If you are a crochet beginner, you may not be fully versed in some of these techniques.
One of the more irritating things about crochet is unraveled ends. What a nusiance, it is very unattractive and very heartbreaking to see all your work unravel and develop holes.
